The Bath Bugle

........ it’s all about Bath !

This section of the Bath Bugle website is all about the many wonderful pubs, bars and restaurants in Bath.

Having lived in Bath for over 12 years and eating out being one of our most favoured pastimes we do feel as though we can give you an informed locals opinion of the best (and sometimes the worst!) places to eat and drink in and around Bath.

But it’s not just about us!  Please email us with your reviews on where you have had good (and not so good) eating experiences in Bath.

Wine and Dine in Bath

The Best Indian Restaurant in Bath?

To our mind it’s a no brainer!

We personally think that Panahar in Moorland Road is head and shoulders above all the others in terms of quality of the food, value for money and the overall dining experience.

But that’s just our opinion so let’s hear what you have got to say about your personal favourite Indian Restaurant in Bath.

Pub Dining

You don’t always have to go a fancy restaurant to get good food.  Next time you are in the City, try Sam Wellers Pub for good food served within a cosy, relaxed and friendly environment.  You won’t be disappointed.

Another good option for “pub grub” is the Crystal Palace in Abbey Green Square.  Not the cheapest food around but you get what you pay for and it is of a higher quality than you would expect from most pubs.  Worth a visit.

Italian, Italian and more Italian ...

There is no doubt that Bath is blessed with many good Italian eateries.  In fact there are almost too many to choose from!

Our personal favourites include Bottelinos, Jamie’s and Cafe Piazza.  However, probably our number one choice would be Cafe Martini in George Street.

There are a few newer Italian restaurants in town that we have yet to visit but will post a review as and when we try them.
